Best free backlink checkers

Webmaster tools isn't showing any backlinks for my site and it's freaking me out, as I've paid for backlink packages. What could be going wrong?

Is it not accurate? I've got reports from the backlink builder, and the links created are live, but nothing is picked up for my site..

    The links created might be live but i'm guessing they're not yet indexed. give it some time.

    ahrefs.com is the common tool when i want to check backlink

      IMO, compare to Backlinkwatch.com, the results from Ahrefs is in real time. So, on my behalf, I used Ahrefs.

    I have the same issue with WMT not showing backlinks on one site. They show in some of the other tools though. Always made me wonder why some show and some dont.

    backlinkwatch.com is the best, the ranking is also very high in Google..... you can also check backlinks of sub pages..

    You really do want those links to show up in Webmaster Tools. Google is the place to tell you how they see your site (obviously). I have the opposite - IBP tells me I have no links on Google, but webmaster Tools says they are there. I believe Google

    I use backlinkwatch.com with little success as it always reports the way old backlinks but not the new one.!

    I have found most tools are really not that accurate at all. That being said, what are you doing to get your backlinks indexed? I recommend using a site like Linklicious, they make sure all of your links are crawled, which leads to indexing.
