Where we can expect the faster ROI? Banner ads, Email Marketing or in market places?

Usually, everyone will think of the ROI before going to invest or spend money for advertising. Of course, each wants to attain the very faster ROI. Now most of the sales are being done by through ads or selling products by convincing the client by Emails or selling products or services through marketplaces like forums.

What would be more effective when considering the faster ROI?

Banner ads, Email marketing or Markaet place? here I dont mention SEO, PPC and all why because we have seen many discussions regarding these. Kindly share your thoughts and let me too.
