Duplicate title tags and people telling me different stuff!

I have sacked off the agency I was using for SEO and now am going it alone. After running open site exp on my site I got A LOT of duplicate title tags. Reason is here as an example. When you click to page 2, 3, 4 of discussions the URL changes but the title tags are all the same.

What should I do? Robots it to not crawl the category pages? Or what would you guys do? Really appreciate the help. I would offer money but I have been conned out of $10k so far and am now skint!

    Hi,

    Definitely don't block the robots out!

    You should set it up to use the title + page number so it would be "This is the title - Page 2" for example.

      They are all health and beauty discussions.
      It's an index of those discussions.
      But each individual discussion has a different
      title.

      Craigslist (and probably a whole lot of others) does
      the same thing for postings. But each posting has
      a different title.

      You never want more than 100 links or so on a page,
      so obviously there must be a page 2,3,4,etc.

      Relax.

      I actually use the same title on 90% of my pages. Why?
      Because I want targeted adsense ads and that's one
      of my secrets to getting them.
