I have a traffic of around 1.5k to 2k daily pageviews. But my CTR is very very low around 0.3%. I'm not a technical guy. I have worked very hard to increase my traffic and my traffic has increased but not my earnings. If anyone of you experienced gurus could help me out, I'll be really really thankful. Please check out my site to see if there is any fault in my template. My site is in my signature.

  • Hi KingShad,

Which CTR are you referring to?

    CTR to affiliate links? Or...

Your CTR is pretty normal for those kinds of sites, if you want to make more money then get more traffic

I clicked on the link in your signature, and scrolled all the way through and I'm not sure where you even put your ads.

you will always have lower CTR on your page compared to traffic no matter what, of course you can increase your CTR it all depends about your site design and content if you have highly design site that stand out and very good pre-sell content visitor will stay if your page design and content sucks then visitor will click back button in matter of 2-3 second , if you want to get higher CTR you need invest more time on your site design and content...

Dude it's the nature of your website. Even a massive site like "allstarhiphop" wouldn't have high CTR on their ads. But they have MASSIVE traffic.

For a site like yours featuring interesting crazy stories 1-2k per day isn't that much.

& personally I think that the ads that you are serving your ads are messing with the site aesthetic. Anyway. With a site like that I'd worry more about increasing traffic and repeat users than I would about CTR.

My advice would be to move to your own domain before you get too big.

Try to find a way to incorporate your stories into a YouTube channel.

& keep building up your twitter and FB following.

    Good stuff though man.

You got the rel=author thing going.

I'll follow your site. Hope you do well.

Seriously, if you don't think you can invest $10 to buy a domain, actually you can get coupons, and get a domain for 0.99 to $2.95... you shouldn't be doing internet marketing.

    blogger limites you, a lot...

but to answer your question, your blog is not specific and very generic, therefore monetizing these with adsense won't work. Your CTR will be always be too low. Monetize your blog with CPA offers.

Edit: to be honest, your blog is spam and ads no value to the internet...

Try checking to see if there are any new settings in the adwords campaigns. But I really don't think there is a way around it unfortunately.

CTR depends on your traffic and what they want.Try using a link units at the top and ad units at the mid post and end of the post.A 250x250 might be apt for the sidebar.
