Got a .CO indexed in Google in less than 24hrs. About 15hrs to be exact.

Hi everyone, recently I have been seeing a lot of super targeted niche domain names in .CO available and have been tempted, but wasn't sure if they would really get indexed fast and have any real authority.

After reading here on peoples debates about .CO's and watching everything I could where Matt C. talks about this, which he actually has a few very good videos about the topic, and I decided it was worth a try.

So I registered a few .CO's and got crackin on 1.

After building the site, doing on-page SEO, meta tags, H1, hooking up GA & GW, adding canonical tag, robot tag, generating site map, submitting site map, submitting through a reliable free submitter, and doing a few other minor things that are proprietary, this evening when I specifically type in Google the code to see if a site is indexed, like,
Code:
Site:http://coffeebeanextract.co
- it is indexed in Google.

You can see I bought the domain about 15 hours ago:

Thought I would share, I hope some people have some questions and I can answer them and help people get their sites indexed this fast... and of course, keep building them up to get not just indexed, but ranked high for your keywords.

oh ya and not just .CO's

thanks for your reply! of course heard of it! it's been all over lately, it's only bad for complete junk sites built on EMD's. That is a fact in my mind. If you simply put up the same exact site, or have some software creating links on parked pages, autopost bots, etcyou are never going to get ranked anymore and you certainly won't stay there.

However, most of those sites affected are complete junk junk junk.

While this site, and many other EMD's that I have launched, in the past and currently, are not effected because there is real thought into the keyword choices, programming, on-page SEO, the right tags, and doing some of the other right things so it is not complete junk. while getting indexed and getting ranked are 2 totally different things. getting indexed isn't the challenge necessarily, but getting ranked for my keywords will be tougher.

Also, I am not one to respond to hype. I have standards and integrity of doing things, which cannot be affected by things like Google slaps and updates. Those things affect people that did something wrong, and they know it. They copied some other site, they tried to use a spinner or autopost plugin for content, they tried gazillion site submitter and backlink magic builders and stuff. I don't do that, therefore, what I do is not effected by such things.

I have known people drastically effected by these things, and they are doomed until they fix their issues and bad karma, juju, whatever you want.

I don't play those games. I am not in the game for a quick buck and be at risk of getting shut down or losing my business. I stick to the fundamentals of the game, get real good and picked up a few secret tips from experience and people along the way and therefore can 'do' things with SEO, call it black magic, or voodoo, it's not, it's just knowing and sticking to the fundamentals.

I am sorry, but whats the point of this?...

I mean, it takes less than 30 minutes to index a new page if you just link to it here in WF (in your sig). And there are many other ways to index fast as well, like bookmarking it on dig.

I am not talking about a new page on an existing site, I am talking about a freshly registered domain name, and getting it indexed in Google.

thanks for sharing this, but do you think .Co can compete with .Com domains is SERPs? I don`t think so. When they can`t compete so what`s the use of getting except if you try getting paid traffic.

your welcome. according to the research I have done and listening to top experts in the field, it seems that they can. As long as you abide by good SEO rules and treat it just as well as any other domain name you want to get ranked for. I think they absolutely can compete.

It is interesting.. But don;t you think added webmaster and analytics make it more simple to enter in search engine?

      thanks for your reply Sean!

When I said "hooking up GA & GW" that is what I meant, I meant adding the code for Google Webmaster and Google Analytics account.

But that does not always get it indexed right away, and guarantees nothing in terms of getting indexed.

I find adding the sitemap in the webmaster tools helps, but still might take a couple days to show up in google under the site: test

then submitting to the reliable free source usually should get it done within the next 6-12 hours as long as everthing else is in place.

I really don't see the point in this thread.

Big woop, you got a domain indexed. I thought it was obvious that Google will index a .co and rank it if the site's any good.

Ranking it will be a different story.... especially if the sites a pile o' sh*te.
