Hi, i've a news site "E Hacking News" . I'm updating news since 2011. But still there's no improvement in alexa and google search result. Please give me some tips to improve my site.

Kill the stupid popup the moment your site loads.. makes the site scream desperate, there are better ways to increase likes without pestering your readers.

I closed the site after that came up....

Yes get some social media by making up to date articles and reviews on your site and submit them to social groups and other social networks. This will give you a boost.

Okay, you seem to have fairly decent up to date information which given your sites interest is critical to your success. Especially with Windows 8 getting ready to be released I would be hitting hard and heavy on that kind of stuff, why not ride the wave. I personally use a social link exchange to assist me with getting social coverage without a ton of hassles. If you are interested it is Follow Like, there are others of course but how it will serve you I think is because IT Security attracts to kind of people.. those learning and those who have issues right now. The social link exchange could help with the right now and provide some boost to the learning (aka search engine).

I didn't check to see if your content is just rehashed stuff that can be found elsewhere but could be in your interest if you try and push yourself beyond those.

  Never heard of this before, how does follow like work? Do they charge you per referral? Or is it one hand washing the other. If I recommend A, A recommends me? Very interested in the idea, thanks for sharing but would like to understand it better.

Guess you have the same font as that of washington post, use google's new "meta news keywords" to classify the category of the news. It really helps.

Others increasing their followers in 100s but for me it is in 5 or 4 . how can i improve that?! Few persons got more than 10k followers within few months how?!

@ Soulstreak , I believe i've somewhat quality back links. In fact, i've links from Nbcnews, digitaljournal and other sites. I've removed the popups as per the advice by one of warriorforum member.

i'm waiting for PR update. but still i fear about the stupid decision of Google like EMD.

I noticed that you have changed your twitter name from @BreakTheSec to @EHackerNews, but you do still link to your old twitter tag on your right sidebar. You might want to change that.
Are you using tools like Google Webmaster tools, Google Analytics and Bing webmaster tools? They are great tools to keep up with your improvements.

  Do you do advanced content tracking? Do you have custom segments? Cusom reports? A blog dashboard? Which metrics are you using to see if things are going good or bad? Cutroni has a great blog post about rethinking blog/news/content metrics. (can t link unfortunately).
  
  Why i'm saying this is because the best tips to improve your site (topic title) you're gonna get from your visitors. Not from Usablity/SEO/Web/content experts who dont have access to your Analytics data. Analyze your data and take action on that. All those numbers and graphs in Google Analytics are actually people/visitors.

do some seo for your site... Install alexa toolbar in your browser and ask your friends to do the same, write a review for your site in alexa then see the magic within few days in your alexa ranking

I think you need to work on your inbound marketing strategy to a degree.

I believe there is a hungry niche with your site especially with the rise of hacktivism. You should spend some time identifiying your target audience and finding out where they hang out online and getting involved with the conversation.
