Big SEO problem caused with people curating some of my videos
- SEO |
I did include videos for one, showing in you tube, so that people could see exactly how the site would be. They were made public. These could be left on, using mine posted in my channel, (but I included the files and encouraged people to upload them to their own video channel) if they were to purchase the plr site.
It never dawned on me it would cause such a SEO headache. I would normally want backlinks about domain names, websites, the url, etc to my site.
When I check my site in quotes in Google, I have about 25 backlinks listed of baby stroller names and keywords. This is because of video curation - people picking up my videos from youtube and putting on their site.
I put the url in to my domain site, before the description about the video.
This is really skewing the keywords/backlinks the bots are picking up for my site as I don't have many backlinks to the site anyway.
Here are a site that you can see it in action:
pricerunner.co. uk/pr/674-919091/Pushchairs/Joovy-Caboose-Ultralight-Reviews - look under videos.
So here is my question - I am sure they are using some sort of plugin/software. If I change the domain name the videos are pointing to at youtube, does anyone know if the domain name will change on the pages of the sites that are doing video curation?
Or buy another site and use a 301 for that file to the new site?
Hope that is clear. If not, I will figure it out or just take the videos down...
Thanks.
Jeannie
