Sorry but this is going to come as a disappointment

Google Bringing In More Than $100 Million Per Day Via AdWords

Sorry but no company raking in a 100 million dollars a day is going anywhere for the next decade.

P.S. the fact that adwords brings in 100 Million dollars a day and very few people can even live off what they get from adsense is another indication how much adsense SUCKS.

    I am not so sure I would use the word.. sucks. It is a great home for those not smart enough to expand further. Look at most school systems, they have short buses for kids who require those special classes. Adsense is more or less the short bus of IM

      If you know you are in a short bus and why then that is like adsense - it sucks.

    Trust me, Adsense doesn't suck, it's the schemers that are trying to make easy/quick money that suck.

    If Adsense sucked, you wouldn't see Adsense on some of the largest sites on the net.

    The only guys that cry about Google/Adsense are the goofballs with the 3 page sites, lol. Google doesn't like my site, blah, blah, blah..., no joke, the rest of the world also thinks that 3 page site sucks.

    You can wrap a pile of dog dung in pretty wrapping paper, it's still a pile.

      You are almost correct except where you use the largest sites as a comparison because even you know they are under a different program with different terms and conditions.

      You are correct in the sense that 99% of the people that say it sucks, were banned because they couldn't follow some simple rules. I know for a fact they will talk with you if you email them with a legit question, I had a several email conversation with them and in the end I removed Adsense.. but that was my choice.

      If you are looking to build a business though, Adsense is not your best choice by far.

        Yep, different terms, same concept.

        I guess my point is, I have traffic that Google doesn't have (niche traffic), I have something to offer. I'm not trying to sound holier than thou, just saying I can send Google packing, just as easy as they could send me packing.

        I've removed Adsense from my 2nd best traffic site, since I found a better converting product on CB (of all places). If I ever find a product that converts better than the current CB product, well, CB will be history.

        Agreed, there's always something more profitable, but you have to weigh in the amount of work it takes to get that higher return. With Adsense I don't have to mess with customers, that's an advantage IMO, the same with CB. On the other hand I do have one product that I've sold that's done well, but I do have to deal with customers. When your selling a product people expect some kind of support, the more you sell, the more time it takes to provide that support.

        Again, it all depends how much time you have to dedicate to selling your own product, or simply getting paid for clicks (Adsense). I do know, I couldn't handle 3 sites worth of customer support for my own products. I'm not trusting enough to allow someone else (support) to take over anything to do with my sites, I need the income & don't want someone else to half a$$ what I've built. I'm ok where I'm at right now, with my sites/income. Like I said, If I find anything better that I can personally manage, I'll test it out & see which converts better.

      I RARELY see adsense on very high caliber sites but anyhow my reference to Adsense sucking is as a business model. Some sites that have their own business model and then add adsense for monetization (or extra monetization) it works fine for but someone starting a site even if its 200 pages and saying this is my business model?

    Google isn't perfect. Its search algorithm doesn't always delivery the best results and, in my opinion, has been giving me less useful results than before the recent changes (too many repetitive links to too few different sites). Adsense doesn't always deliver the most relevant ads for my sites or get as good of conversion rates as might be possible with more relevant ads.

    Still, Google does what it does very well. No company has to be perfect, they just have to a better job than their competition and Google generally does that.

    It reminds me of the following joke:

    Two hikers round a bend and spot a large bear 100 years ahead. It sees them, too, and starts running toward them. One hiker quickly pulls off his boots and slips on a pair of running shoes. The other hiker says, "Those shoes won't help you outrun a bear." The first hiker replies, "I don't need to run faster than the bear. I just need to be faster than you."

    All Google needs to do is be like the first hiker and outrun its competition.

    I think more people are leaving adsense today, and they're moving to "sell" maybe advertising space, goods/products, less ppc today.
    for ppc, better go with chitika, you won't be banned like adsense does for doing something is right according to the rule. lol.
    If you have read a guy making $10k per month with adsense for months (maybe years_) suddenly with no reason his adsense account was banned. So he lost his $10k that month.
    At least he already had been making $10k over and over again in the past months.
