Heya!Wassup Wf?
It has been a long time since I have posted something aha!
I just have a short question for all seo gurus out there..
I have a website with the main keyword as domain name.
What if I use Unique content at the home page and on the rest of the pages I use Content from blogs ect(In short copied content).
Would this effect my home page ranking on google?
What iF i just want to rank the homepage on google?

    Hi David
    As far of I know all your pages under your domain name will be evaluated in order to rank your site. When it comes to Google Ranking there are no shortcuts. Google are changing their algorithm regular to make sure that thinks like this is not possible. It would be better to post your own content less regular that to have content duplicated from another blog. Google is for sure going to punish you for that. If the Google bot find malware on one of your sub pages it is also going to affect your home page ranking.

    It seem then that google basically frowns upon syndication if what you are saying is true.

    Google may the also slam you for using an exact match domain name.

    Its not a good idea to have a single duplicate article on your website. It will degrade your website and your main page will lose its ranking

    Don't take this personal but this is the laziest step i have seen a webmaster want to take in years..

    Even before all this recent updates, it has always been advised and also best to use unique content on your site that you intend ranking.

    If you can't finish up with a good content, i wonder if you will have the time to work your site to profitability.

    Yes Alot folks got slamed for EMDs, But I recovered EMD slam with Great content not good content great content . The scrape content will kill your site with google . good luck with that

    Not to step on everyone's view about duplicae contents. But for the OP, If you will be using contents that's useful to users regardless of it's being copied or not, you'll be fine.

    Forget about duplicate content penalty.

    no duplicate content will not affect you..just rewrite the sentences in it..
    i have one SEo for many clients and they do have duplicate contents on their site but i have got rankings for them..
