I hope this is the correct section for this thread.

I have just moved my website from a .co.uk to a .com and in the process updated my google places page to reflect this.

In the past day or two, it has now appear to of been removed. Even in my control panel where I can edit the page details I have an option to view the page and it just returns a 404 not found error.

All the info is still present though in the edit area.

Is this normal, will they review and add the page back when done or have i messed something up?

I'd contact Google support about this.

I know many people feel different but I think they're usually helpful enough.

Google places goes by relevancy, location, ratings.

The only way the first 2 would change is if you changed them.

You don't even need a website for google places.

If there is something in the algo that thinks "location
by domain," then ditching a UK specific domain would be
pretty drastic. I can't say that is in the algo, but it sure
      would hurt for organic listings.

A 404 error would mean it got ditched or changed. If
you can log in, edit it, you should be able to get the new
      url.

As far as contacting google, google helps those who help themselves.
