Has anyone watched the Adwords Triangulation Method?

I just watched it last night and it seems pretty interesting.

What I leard the most is about higher positions yields higher returns, by a big difference. Check out 19:52, where their ad was making almost $3 net profit a click at the top position, while making $0.07 profit a click at the 9th position. WHat a big difference, and I would rather be at the top position.

I also worked on appling embedded matching into my adwords, an adgroup for each keyword i have.

Let me know if anyone else went through this video.

I cant post links yet (being less than 15 posts at this time), but look it up on Google "Adwords Triangulation Method", and its under Stompernet.

Had not seen it myself, though I am not as in, when it comes to Adwords yet. Working it. From what you say, seems to make sense, just with organic, higher spots are the sweet spots. Not that I know that much about adwords

Though seems you'd need some cash to test and lose to make it work huh? Where do you find the vid? Do you have to be a stompernet member?

There are a few top Adwords marketers that reckon you should alway place yourself in position 6-8, as this placement will give you a higher conversion rate.

However, I find position 3 works best for me.

I concur. Top ranked ads not necessarily convert high. It also depends upon your product, its price and many marketing factors! I peronally observe that 3-5th positions converted well!

for me, an average position of 2.5 to 4.0 seems to balance clicks with CPC nicely.

It depends on the market, the offer, the keywords and a lot of things, but it's going be a rare case indeed when you get the best performance at the bottom of the page.

And in nearly every business-to-consumer ecommerce site I've worked the best ROI has been with ads in the T1 position. But of course, you don't get that without a lot of testing on the ad, offer, message, landing page, products, pricing, etc.

As a Google Advertising Professional I have to say... great video.

I use a lot of the tactics they mention but I do learn some great stuff from it.

Remember, look for customers not just traffic.
