And how about those that email or submit a form, and then it converts into a sale, however, it was not through the website?

    You can track phone sales with differerent extensions (ie: 1800 555 1212 ext. 123). Or you can have customers give an "Operator ID" when calling in.

    For example, "Call 1800 555 1212 - and be sure to ask for Operator #5!". Operator # 5 would stand for something you want to track.

    Emails can be tracked with tracking URLs. So, if you send an email to your prospects, be sure the links on that email that point back to your site use some sort of tracking urls.

    Alternatively, you can use specific landing pages for your email messages - but that can become burdensome when trying to track multiple emails.

    Tracking form submissions are trickier, but not impossible. It can be done using PHP and passing a variable that represents a keyword (or whatever you want to track) unto your conversion page.

    Don't know what you mean by "it was not through website".
