PPC traffic to a squeeze page... Can it be done?

Hey warriors!

I just created a squeeze page for my website and I want to start sending targeted traffic to it ASAP.

I was wondering which PPC website will allow me to send traffic straight to a squeeze page? Can it be done with Bing or Facebook?

I don't want to deal with any tier 2 search engines either. Or with a FB fan page opt in.

Am I just better off building a two stage squeeze page where the first page has content and ends with a question that brings them to the actual squeeze page?

For example:
Question page with 500-600 words content >>>> Squeeze page

Are there other ways of getting PPC traffic to a squeeze page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All PPC sites allow you to send traffic to your squeezepage, including FB and bing.
What they don´t allow is directlinking in some cases.

I hope I understood your question correctly.

I find that using PPC to collect opt-ins is too expensive. The cost per subscriber is just too high, and it is still just search traffic. Guest posting, free WSOs, and PLR distribution are all far more effective in terms of cost, as well as volume and quality of subscribers.

The free WSO method only applies in the IM niche, of course, but the other two can work in any niche. My advice, stay away from PPC for list building.

      Hey Anomalous,

Depending on the quality of your squeeze page and the price of your offer, getting optins through PPC is not expensive.
The main target of PPC is to get conversions /sales, not optins.
Optins aka list building are a sort of PPC sub-product.
If you select an average offer, in the worst scenario - no sales profits - you can get a nice amount of subscribers at almost zero cost.

So it is possible to send PPC traffic directly to a squeeze page?

I've heard different things from different people, some people seem to have issues promoting their squeeze page using PPC sites like FB or Bing. While other people seem to have no issue doing so. So what do these PPC websites actually allow?

Almost all PPC networks allows you to send the visitors to a Squeeze Page, except G. Adwords and recently Bing Ads. I recently found problems with Bing not only due to the Squeeze Page but also they objected that the vendor's Sales Page had an exit pop-up and they disapproved this as well. Can´t tell about FB because I don't use it. For PPC stay away from Google and Bing. In the ads reviews they will always find something to disapprove and you'll spend a lot of time there.

I do this with 7search with some success, but it does take a little money and testing first.

Yeah spending money on ppc to build a list is the fastest way to do it. If you have a strong sales funnel on the back end you can more than make up for the front end cost and have a killer ROI.

But yeah sending adwords to squeeze page is doable, you need to put some content underneath form, but it can be done.

IT is possible to direct PPC traffic to your squeeze page on all platforms except Google.

Facebook & Bing allow you to send traffic to your squeeze page and directly linking to an offer (the former is obviousl best as you are capturing the lead).

I have started dabbling in Solo ads and it's my favourite form of paid advertising, however, it only really works for the IM/MMO niches.

    Hope this helps!

Great! Good to hear, I won't be using Adwords anyways as I've had issues with them in the past so that works out.

      Thanks for the help.

You can do it in AdWords until your account eventually goes to manual review and is suspended for using squeeze pages. But this appears to be done randomly and it can take a long time before it happens.

Yes, it can be done; but some caveats...

FB PPC to a Squeeze Page -- Don't do it. It's not very effective. Better to give your visitors exactly what you promised in your ad. However, offer a premium or a bonus of higher-level info that's related to the info you just gave. For that - you can ask for the opt-in; and it works like a charm.

Adwords PPC -- G is not crazy about Squeeze pages. If you're doing a lead gen campaign (ie: opt-in for free info), then you need to offer loads of valuable content. Forget the "1-sentence bullet points". You also must provide links to your privacy policy, terms page, contact us page, etc. Furthermore, you have to provide a link for your visitors to get your content without them having to opt-in. It doesn't have to be obvious though

With adwords, I don't think the issue is that they hate squeeze pages.

Do google search for penny stock keywords and you'll see everyone basically is using squeeze pages (and paying out the yin-yang CPC's).

I think ultimately what they do is follow your sales funnel...and if they sniff out any sort of sales pitch that we here on WF are accustomed to seeing time and time again...that's when you get the "hey guess what we just banned your account" email from the adwords team.
