Google affiliate ads blogspot

Just noticed something new on blogger, but it may be old.
They now have google affiliate ads as an option.
Just did a new post, clicked on gadgets, and the affiliate ad
gadget popped up. Chose products, and got an ad.
Decided to just put one ad. It's similar to amazon, but
these are products sold via google. You get paid through
adsense.

Anyone have any experience with these?

    I don't use blogger nor Adsense so no.. but I think the writing was on the wall with this one as they move to try to gain a foothold on mobile traffic and increase normal earnings. I would imagine we might see many little things like this as they figure out what works and what doesn't.

    I think that's been around for at least a year.

    Each time I've ever considered running those Ads, I've never found anything relevant to my content/niche. Reminds me of Adsense videos a few years ago, you could only pick from a small amount of pre-approved videos, unlike today (Youtube/Adsense).
