I get 500 UV's in about an hour.. it takes time, work and going beyond just a single keyword thats for sure. I am not going to say the google trends idea is completely worthless but I will say I have never used it.
The idea for doing it is easy, find a topic and then start to attack every long tail keyword that exists regarding that topic, also hit every major keyword as well. For me I think site structure plays a critical role because it makes it easier for users but also easier for Google spiders too, also use old articles to support new articles. You have to be constantly writing and thinking, because you need to try and have content that hits multiple keywords and not be afraid to tweak stuff to hit even more.

Well said ... If you are thinking about your business seriously, 500 visitors a day isn't that much. This only means 15,000 visitors a month - if your visitors aren't highly niche specific, you won't much money with them.

Um are you crazy? 500 visitors a day isn't much? What?! That much traffic can make you an absolute fortune, if you know what to do with that traffic.

Why you would say that is beyond me. Either because you aren't getting 500 visitors a day or you're getting spam of traffic that is junk to your sites.

Add content on your website, start a social marketing campaign, and build links to your pages. Leave comments on other websites and blogs that are relevant to your business and answer questions on Q & A sites. Add social sharing buttons on your site. Reaching 500 visitors a day is not difficult.

The simplest way to 500 visitors a day is to pay for them. Solo ads, Adwords, FB advertising. It's really simple. If you've got something that converts and you know your numbers, you should have no problem figuring out what you can spend to generate traffic.

500 visitors per day is PLENTY to make a great income. I've had sites with less than 100 visits per day that make in the 4 figures per month. Heck, The WordPress Classroom probably only gets 300-400 visitors per day right now and it generates 5 figures in sales pretty much every month.

I run my site for 3months... I am using Adwords. I pay $10 per day, there is around 250 UV per day from it, plus I have done my SEO well, I have PR1, PR2... site... plus addthis... around 10 shares per day... now my UV is around 500... and it still growing... And my Adsense from the beginning $0.X per day to now ~$15 per day... But it really takes time and effort to achieve.

1) Free traffic : get traffic by search engines by optimizing your site according to them or get traffic by promotion on social networks.

2) Paid traffic : Place your ad or contact some ad agencies they will give you the desired traffic at desired price.

Getting 500 UV to a website is not that difficult if you have proper planning and ready to work towards your goal. I will not advice for paid traffic if your goal is long term. Instead focus on the free methods to get traffic which in most cases will give you long term benefits. But as I said before you have to be really dedicated with your goal.
