AdSense Application Rejections for Mini-Niche Blog
- SEO |
So I've been following the Extreme Niche Empires (ENE) course, mostly to get an introduction to website creation, hosting, SEO, and IM in general. As I continue with the course, I'm starting to suspect that it's severely outdated.
I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with ENE, but Mr. Donnahue recommends creating at least 10 pages of original content per website. No problem, I did my research and churned out ten articles.
After applying to AdSense, I received a notification that my website had "insufficient content." I started doing some digging around on the AdSense Google forum, and discovered a couple of things (according to the members there). I would appreciate it if anyone would confirm this info.
1) If a niche is already overloaded with sites, and your articles are just rewordings of multiple articles on other sites, Google won't see that content as "original", since it doesn't add anything meaningful.
2) You need a lot more than 10 pages of content (at 500-800 words a page) to get accepted into AdSense. According to the members, 50 pages+.
Thanks to anyone that took the time to read this and help me out. It is much appreciated! Hope everyone on the East Coast of the US is safe and well.
