AdSense Application Rejections for Mini-Niche Blog

Hi y'all,

So I've been following the Extreme Niche Empires (ENE) course, mostly to get an introduction to website creation, hosting, SEO, and IM in general. As I continue with the course, I'm starting to suspect that it's severely outdated.

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with ENE, but Mr. Donnahue recommends creating at least 10 pages of original content per website. No problem, I did my research and churned out ten articles.

After applying to AdSense, I received a notification that my website had "insufficient content." I started doing some digging around on the AdSense Google forum, and discovered a couple of things (according to the members there). I would appreciate it if anyone would confirm this info.

1) If a niche is already overloaded with sites, and your articles are just rewordings of multiple articles on other sites, Google won't see that content as "original", since it doesn't add anything meaningful.
2) You need a lot more than 10 pages of content (at 500-800 words a page) to get accepted into AdSense. According to the members, 50 pages+.

Thanks to anyone that took the time to read this and help me out. It is much appreciated! Hope everyone on the East Coast of the US is safe and well.

Start a blog, and post for 2 weeks straight... to a direct, targeted niche. Then go back and apply for Adsense again.

I had success doing this with Blogger which is owned by Google.

Part of the sign-up for a new blogger account asks if you want to monetize with adsense. If you check "Yes" they set up an adsense account for you so they can put adsense on your blogspot blog.

I don't know if it has changed significantly in the past year, but my adsense account was created right away and I only had one post on blogspot.

Try creating a Hubpages then post at least 10 High Quality Article around 800-1000 words should work because that's how I got my adsense application accepted backthen, you don't need to create 50 pages of articles I hope that help

My advice is target a niche that isn't related to money. Example, start out with a hobby niche site.

May be your content is short. Increase the word limit and add more content. Adding more content also helps in getting traffic from long tail keywords.
I would rather suggest not to fall for thin niche sites and scale a few sites more so that with next google update we dont have to see threads like "Google wiped out all my sites what should i do"

Google does not care how many sites there are covering a topic or keyword, what it cares about is each site is unique and offers a good user experience. Design your site with that in mind and write original and unique content. (Don't buy it or spin it and you will know for sure if you meet this standard)

Back when I used Adsense it took me 30 days of writing 1 article a day, the conclusion I came too concerning getting approved was 25/25. Aim for at least 25 articles and getting 25 visitors a day. Are these hard fast numbers written in stone, nope. They are just numbers I used to get approved and worked.
