Don't waste your time on that thing. You may get related site but NO FOLLOW.
All or Most of the Do Follow websites now are spammed! Don't let your site link to them.

    Regards,

    Ronnie

Sorry, I know this thread is somewhat old, but I just wanted to post a quick reply.

      1. NoFollow isn't a bad thing. Aside from the ongoing debate of NF links passing any juice, at the very least they'll help your link diversity. Plus, they can be a pretty strong source of traffic if they're on niche-related blogs. A lot of people tend to overlook blog commenting as a traffic generating method.

      I posted this elsewhere:

If you're going after traffic (and not backlinks) just set up Google Alerts to notify you of new posts that include your niche keywords. If you stumble across a popular blog and get your comment approved you can see a pretty nice surge of traffic.

If you've got Scrapebox you can take this to the next level by importing hundreds (even thousands) of niche-related keywords and having it only display results from the past 24 hours. You can then check the PR of the blogs, Alexa rankings, etc, to help identify potentially high traffic blogs.

All of that said, make sure you're leaving GOOD comments that you'd approve on your own blogs. I always stop and think to myself "Would I approve this on my own blog?" before pressing the post button.
      2. There are plenty of DoFollow blogs that aren't spammed. But they're usually moderated. Which, IMO, is a good thing.

Good suggestion but I would like to add something with this suggestion. Do not think about dofollow and nofollow. Just try to get links naturally and from good quality sites.

Just leave comments that you'd approve yourself and you'd be surprised.

A lot of blog owners don't have time to monitor comments as well and they just have them automatically approved.

I've found that most blog owners who would rather not moderate comments just turn them off instead.

Most AA blogs are simply abandoned and usually spammed-to-death.

I know this is a bit late in the day but I find dropmylink.com useful for finding relevant sites to comment on.

It uses the footprints mentioned by @pinakin but inputs code to Google for you.

I have found ScrapeBox quite useful for research purpose, but never bothered to use its 'Auto Poster' feature. That's more of a tool for those who don't bother to leave a useful comment on someone's blog, but need a backlink.

It would save some time. You would otherwise spend on Google (manual scraping), and more when it comes to removing duplicate URLs and bulk PR check. In short, it's a good piece to spend some bucks on, and it comes with a lifetime licence, the only limitation they have put on it, is you can't use it on multiple machines.

When I don't feel like scraping in bulk, I use following Google's dorks to come up (mostly) with DoFollow blogs.

    Code:
"This site uses KeywordLuv. Enter YourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage." "Keyword"

    "CommentLuv is enabled" "keyword"

"Confirm you are NOT a spammer" "Keyword"

I know this doesn't directly solve the problem of using the same license on multiple machines but you CAN use it on a VPS. I primarily run it from a VPS which can be accessed from any location and doesn't use my computer resources and bandwidth.

You can find some pretty cheap VPS's if you dig around. I use BermanHosting.com and it's about $10 a month. Definitely worth avoiding the hassles of tying up my own system resources and bandwidth.

Agree with previous poster. Always try to get links from quality sites. Then again, this is easier said than done. They are quality sites because they are well moderated and don't allow spam. In the end, content is king. Nothing can make up for bad content.

Sticking to free blog comments really sucks. It takes too much time and the links are not high quality AT ALL.

Check out a tool like SENuke.

Before going for the comments you must check out the website's Domain authority and spam score. Most of the websites are spammed now. Be aware of this.

If you want to use blogs for creating back links for your website then it is better if you build back links in both the do-follow and no-follow blogs. The back-links you create should look natural. Commenting on the no follow blogs is also important because it will drive traffic to your website.

For me what usually works is that I determine the relevance of the blog or the trust flow and then check the links manually if they fit my requirement Do follow/No follow and then review it whether through SEMrush or ahrefs if it's worth to consider as a blog niche i want to pursue.

I am surprised that this is a very old post, however, it is relevant as of today. For me, if I am searching for blogs to comment on I would consider both who has do/no follow links. I would just base my judgment on whether the site has a good trust flow or not and a Majestic plug in could help you in that area.

Using a variation of the keyword you are using is great, I use a spreadsheet for the search variations to be determined and then use several sites and do not stick to the google extension relative to my country.

Basically, you really need to be creative in searching for related blog posts to your site. If you are trying to link for say, a pet forum you are working on, then you should search for the pet related terms or keywords you would need to use.

I make use of every search engine I know of, because they might still churn out different links even though we know majority is indexed by Google, there's still the other players you have to think about. Lastly, make sure you are commenting on blogs that are still relevant or still has recent posts.
