Can anybody tell me the secret of high PR of this web-site?

Hey guys,

I've spent more than 2 months on building PR of web-site set in my signature, but no success. It's still PR2.
Just discovered several web-sites with PR8 and gone crazy! How is it possible to achieve such PR without having quality backlinks?

Can anybody tell me the secret of high PR of this web-site for example:
FILM EDITING
I've checked backlinks from google and it shows ZERO!

    Matt Cutt did said that value links will increase the pagerank of it's outbound link, as well as internal linking.

    Did you check if that site were fake pagerank?

      There are lots of ways to fake PR so you need to check that first. The whole idea of PR is to pass through to your site. They might only need one or two links from a High PR homepage that is actually passing PR through to their site. Otherwise they could be redirected traffic from elsewhere

    How to check for fake PR? Is there any tool for that? I'm checking with google pr tool.

    It's done by 301 (multiple) redirects. Pure blackhat.
