Hi Guys,

A week ago i have started to promote a facebook page related to my wife´s Fofucha Dolls fan page. Well the goal of this Facebook page is to get more fans/likes that are real and highly targeted since the potential buyer will take a look at the page, like the page and of course can buy a doll or be redirected to my wife´s Etsy Shop.

So the goal here is more to get likes and after a week of audience tweaking i have this results:

Impressions: 515.683
Clicks: 127
Actions: 35
CTR: 0.025%
Spent: 22.73
CPM: $0.04
CPC: $0.18

So my question here is about these status of facebook advertising, are they good / Bad ? require much more tweaking?

To me as an advertiser i believe the CPM and CPC are good but i am not a guru about FB advertising.

About the Audience that we are targeting are:

who live in one of the countries: United States or Brazil
exactly between the ages of 24 and 45 inclusive
who are female
who like #Craft, #Etsy, my etsy, #Doll or #American Craftsman
who speak Portuguese (Brazil), English (UK), Portuguese (Portugal), English (Pirate), English (Upside Down) or English (US)
who are not already connected to Fofuchas Dolls Paradise
who are in the category DIY/Crafts

thanks for all the feedback.

Regards,
Morg

It ultimately all boils down to your ROI.

You spent $22.73, and now it remains to be seen how many dolls you will sell from those new fans.

If you sell more than $22.73 worth of dolls, then I would call it a success.

Quantity of fans is important, but obviously quality is even more so.

Yeah i understand that. but we have an allocated budget for Advertisement.

Sincerely i do not expect to get sales from the advertisement since this is not an affiliate where i receive commissions. but its an advertisment to be noticed and increase the fan base.

In the end i believe there will be a ROI in the long run but the goal is to expose the brand , increase the fanbase and start converting.

Besides the Advertisment from SEO and Etsy Traffic in 3 months (when she started this business) The shop received +2000 Unique visitors , but its required Social Presence (like facebook and others).

In terms of ROI the sales are higher then the costs.
About quality, well the dolls since are home made they have premium quality (at least that´s what the buyers told her)

      Regards,
      Morg

Well, now that you've grown your membership a bit, try something cheaper and more viral than a targeted PPC ad.

Promotional Contests! there are a few things you should know before hand, specifically that you should only use facebook apps and not simply link to a privately-run contest (follow the money.)
        Read: http://mashable.com/2012/03/05/faceb...omotion-guide/

This will get through to your target demographic by offering them a chance at getting something they want for free. Those who aren't interested won't enter. Try to run a contest that gives incentive to others telling their friends (like more entries for referrals.)

Its holiday season coming up, after all... Hit it big!
