When are you at a new normal?

How many days, weeks, or months does one need to go
before they suspect that they are at a new level.

This month adsense is running 21% percent higher, every day.
That's 7 days straight, and yes, I am at the 21% mark now, with
many hours left.

I have never paid much attention from day to day, normally
I look at month to month. 7 days straight just caught my
attention.

Just curious as to when/if people actually start thinking they
are now at a new level. Of course there's always a potential
drop. Stay tuned!

My new normal was my main site hitting the 2K a month mark for October.

Totally affiliate sales. Sure come a long way from the first dollar online @ 30DC in September 2009. And I'm still doing this part time - like a couple hours in the evenings.

I hear ya baby! Hard work (in the long run) can sure pay off. And I suspect last
      longer as well.

I guess the direct question would be, do you fully expect to be at 2K this
      month, judging Nov. so far.

I hope so but this site has been hit by Penguin and the BMR furore. Who know's what will be thrown at it next. Just been dealing with an SQL injection "Pharma Hack" on another up-and-coming site so it's all an enjoyable challenge

Here's a little proof that you can recover from penguin:

Yeah that was my next inquiry. When you have the new normal fully
entrenched, then you really gotta watch for some short or long term
      dips.

I guess I'll never have the new normal fully entrenched until I've got many eggs in a large number of shiny new baskets. But I'm in this for the long haul - and enjoying it all the way.

The end of the year is always higher earnings for my Adsense sites, just like clock work.

    It's different for everyone really.

    Everyone learns different.

Some people learn fast, but master things slowly.

Some people learn slowly, but master things quickly.

Each human brain, is so infinitely different, that the best thing you can do, is learn how yours best functions.

After you know that, you can take advantage.

Typical end of year bump that always starts in November.
Expect another noticeable bump around Black Friday.

Weird Oct was my highest earning month and I barely did any work. I guess it was all the work I did in August that paid off 2 months later. Time to get back to it.
