I believe the title pretty much said it all. Now twitter's PR 10 but google.com and facebook.com are PR 9
I am finding it strange. What do you say?
#facebookcom #googlecom #twitter

If you are an SEO Expert like your profession says then you wouldnt be to worried about PR. It isnt that important in the greater scheme of things. Page authority is more important as well as interlinking your overall website-on page as well. PR isnt a very good judgement of a sites strength, just one of the factors.

agree with you, sometime low PR can outrank high PR.. but when we build backlink we still need high PR backlink

Its OK, Pagerank has a mathematical formula and it depends on the quality and number of backlinks a website has. Twitter linked more by other search engines. Also having higher pagerank doesn't guarantee more traffic.

Guys, I understand what you all are saying. PR doesn't matter a lot but don't forget it's still one of several factors.
It still indicates the amount of backlinks , right?

Not just the amount of backlinks but the quality and authoritativeness of these backlinks.

In my opinion, PR indicates the strength of a domain (and therefore its backlink portfolio). If a website has a pr of 10 you can be sure the DA will be high as well, because other wise they would not have obtained the PR-10 in the first place.

Twitter has got a pr of 10 because it's got better backlinks pointing at it's website than google.

Not surprising. Not much of a difference between PR 9 and 10 anyway. Sites that have a PR of 5 should be very thankful. It's pretty difficult to attain a PR of 6 or higher.

Google PR is 9. This is strange. Google PR should be 11.

Having higher pagerank doesn't guarantee more traffic. Sometime, pr 0 website has more traffic than pr 3 website. I think mainly pr is depend on HIGH QUALITY backlinks.

Only page rank is not a judgement of any particular website strength, some time pr 0 or 1 website has more traffic rather than pr 4 & 5.

According to seo point, pr doesn't matter, all internet business depends on ranking......so i always...concern Ranking.....Ranking possible only with the quality backlinks, doesn't matter page rank.

Guys, Thanks a lot for diverting it some other direction (and Spamming) but personally i believe somewhere (on in some scenarios) pagerank and SERP are correlated. Here are some scenarios

Case 1 : High number of backlinks but unoptimized anchor text
Result : High PR but low SERP
Case 2 : Low number of backlinks but with well optimized anchor text
Result: Low PR but high SERP
Case 3: High number of backlinks with well optimized anchor text
Result : High PR and high SERP

    P.S.
    1. Assuming all the backlinks are of same quality and authority (Just to keep that factor constant)
    2. "Low number " is being assumed as relatively low
