Hello

I work in a small SEO company which builds link for educational sites. Now, since last one month I am not doing a good job for my company as lot of my link exchange requests denied and other strategies also not working.

As we know educational sites are of high authority and so getting a relevant links from good educational sites have become difficult. Pl suggest me alternative strategies other than social networking to get authority links from top education related site.

Thanks

You work in an SEO company and you're doing link exchanges? Whoever runs the company shouldn't be in business. Google said years ago that two way links were no longer acceptable:
One way links are far more powerful than two way links. As a result, it's better to focus on earning those.

The answer to your question is to provide high quality content to the .edu sites (as well as other 'regular' sites) with a link at the bottom back to your site. Also, the site that you want to rank needs to produce high-quality regular content as backlinking alone doesn't work as well anymore. Google values its users, so create content that makes them happy.

Incidentally, you'd be better asking this question in the SEO part of the forum instead of here.

Search for "online colleges". The three exact match domains at the top are highly competitive and they are certainly not wasting time on link exchanges and other junk like web2s and blog comments.

They make good use of content marketing to earn links; they get themselves listed on authoritative resource lists; they do some guest contributions on selected sites; and some choice link directories.

The EMD Update didn't even phase them. That's what you should be doing.

Depends. Would .gov librarian or employee look at your client's site and say "This is valuable". ?

If yes, then you'll have an easy time doing outreach and contacting these people for inclusion. See this thread of mine for one tactic: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...ng-tactic.html

Resource links alone are not going to get you there, though.

It was great to read that tactic. Thanks for the sharing.

You need to add more SEO strategy to what you're doing, and not only focusing to educational sites. I suggest you do more content. Do guest posting and forum posting to sites that are relevant to your website.
