Hi guys,

I'm considering starting an ecommerce store in the energy sector for a high priced item (i.e., USD200-USD1000 ) and have used market samurai to do some research on the current competition.

For the niche that I've chosen, I believe the second image that is "market 2.jpg" seems much more difficult to rank in the top 3 on Google for.

I haven't started my store in this niche yet, but I'm interested in hearing about your experienced insights into whether or not I should consider these 2 markets given their competitiveness as shown on the market samurai screenshots. I believe that market 1 is more feasible to reach top 3 within Google than market 2.

How long do you think it will take you to rank in the top 3 for both of these markets given the data you see in the screenshots?

Are they too competitive? Should I not consider them and move on?

Thanks in advance!

High competitive keywords are usually dominated in between 3 - 6 months if you are persistent and constant to add backlinks to site/ page that you target to rank at Google.

If you think those keywords are long time to rank, consider other keywords which easier to rank in less than 3 months and have enough demand and good conversion rate.
