Easiest Way to get High PR Dofollow backlinks

Hey Guys
I would like to share my experience with you about how to get high PR backlinks.

Squidoo is a great way to get Dofollow backlinks.

2 weeks ago I created few lenses on squidoo.
I wanted backlinks for web design and internet marketing so I did a little research on what people are looking for and then I wrote posts and publish on Squidoo.
I did not create so many backlinks for these lenses, I just got 3 forum backlinks for each lens.
Google has updated pagerank on 8th November 2012.
after This update I got PR 5 for my one lens and PR 4 for my 2 other lenses.

Yes you are right, but long term it gets ugly. Squidoo only has 620,000 pages indexed. That may seem like a lot, but it isn't.

I created over 600 lenses and noticed a trend. They all start to get deindexed internally from Squidoo unless you actively like them and promote them (they will go from green to red). I was making $100 from 4% Amazon sales a month, so I was doing a lot of volume from these lenses but got banned (someone like bombed me!).

It's a cute way to build some pagerank but unless you find a way to keep your lense indexed it's a very weak ROI in the long run, especially with all the other places to put content / links without the worry of having to promote it in the future. Reference for credibility:

In every page rank update the status goes up and up. But after sometime they start to decrease and take the actual number. So, getting page rank is easy but holding it is not easy.

This is very confusion on Squidoo. Some are thinking dofollow and same are nofollow. What should I think?

But I did not find any rel="nofollow" tag in Squidoo backlinks. So I think everyone should think it dofollow as it is working on search engine ranking.
