So I have built and launched a community site which is basically a forum / blog. I wondered if anyone who knows their stuff could have a look at the page source and let me know if I am missing anything or if any changes are needed to make these posts rank better? An example article is below

  • Oliver,

What keywords are you trying to rank for? Not looking at the page source, I can tell you that your URL is pretty messy, try cleaning it up and making it shorter. Did you include your keywords in the post title? The post is also pretty short, you might try making it longer.

Here are some good tips on how to rank a blog post,

You need a rel canonical on all your pages-Make title tags 67 characters max and meta descriptions 155 characters. Make sure you are hitting the right keywords in your meta.
