I have a question. I want to get my article on the front page of google. But besides submitting it to ezinearticles I have no clue of what to do to get the article better ranking. I optimized it pretty well. My niche is competitive. I am currently on the second page. Can anyone give me some pointers.

Build backlinks to it first use this tool to see how many backlinks the spot on the first page you want has. You can do this by entering the URL into the following:

    https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites

next you want to build high PR backlinks you want to set up the following

    Squidoo Page
    Hubpages Page
Social Bookmark it via (www.socialmarker.com) this will build many backlinks)
Submit it to other article directories to gain more traffic
subit it to other directories and backlink it to your original ezine article

The best way is to get Backlinks.

There is someone on here, names angela edwards, or something (sorry if the name is wrong!), where I get my backlinks, and they are incredible. She charges $5 a month, and you receive them every month. That Will boost your rankings!

Yes you have the right idea say you wrote an article on frogs and the keyword you were targeting for is "frog swamps" you would post that article into ezine with a link to your product(history of frog swamps!) in the anchor text "frog swamps"

than for example go on a article directory such as Buzzle Web Portal: Intelligent Life on the Web and post your article but instead of posting a link to your product post the exact URL to your ezine article under the anchor text "frog swamps" That way your ezine article will gain a backlink and as a result move up in the google rankings depending on the amount of competition for the keyword.

You will also likely need an outrageously, well written article with a booming (keyword) title that people will be passing around like a baked potato just out of the microwave.

Can you write something like Stephen King?

I can write just as well as him and I do not have to lock myself in a closet on a rainy day either in order to do it. lol

Funny thing is that I use Ezine Articles to help me build backlinks to my review posts on my own blogs.

I am going to have to pick up the number of backlinks to my articles I guess so that they will leak even more influence to my bio box links

    1 method you can use to get backlinks for all your articles in just one step is to use the rss link for your account in ezine and submit that link to all the rss submission sites and you will have hundreds of backlinks pointing back to your articles. :-}

Yes Build backlinks, but if your article is compelling to start with backlinks should come automatically, so my advice would be to remember content is and IMHO will always be King

Yap backlinks are usually the key to success. Also keep in mind that you are doing quite well and being ranked at second place isn't all that bad. Just keep updating your site and writing more content (and building more backlinks). You'll see that in the long run you will be very successful.

You should always target long tailed key phrase which has at least 3 or more words. Then plug the keywords into google and check the optimized results i.e put quotes on the keyword phrase ("example of keyword phrase") and if google shows 5,000 or less results, this keyword phrase can be listed on 1st page of google easily.

The create a squidoo lens with about 500 words with keyword density of about 3% and then submit your lens to social bookmarking sites like digg.com and you should see your lens listed in 1st page within 2 days.

I got your question. So, here is the way for you get in the front page of Google first you need to build up searchable keywords or tags within your article. And make sure that your article is very well organized in its sentence structures and it should be your own article made. And also do some backlinking just like commenting or joining forums in every comment or post you have made you must put your URL in the last row.

Why would you want your article ranking on the top page of Google? Surely it's a better use of time to rank your website?
