Do You Really Need Hundreds Of Videos To Make Good Money On YouTube??

I've just been concentrating on creating usefully, high-quality, videos on YouTube I have about 30 so far.

I'm not even getting a $1/day from Adsense, even though most of my videos are number 1 in a very big niche.

My question is, do I really need to create at least 100 videos or more to start seeing good money?

My videos are most definately LOW quality and I consitantly earn $100-$150 per month. I do want to start another channel however and make more of an effort to make high quality videos and actually edit them before I post them.

One thing that I'm surprised by, I often see well put together, well edited videos on interesting subject and they have like 111 views where as I woudl expect them to have like 100k views. It must be frustrating to put that much time into a vdieo and have no results and nobody watch it.

Here's basicaly how I make my videos. When I'm driving in the car I make a video talking about a current event, a product I tried, etc. I normally have my hand over the camera talking into my phone as I'm driving so basically you have the voice but a black screen. THis is a very low quality video but this is basically what all my videos are. I know I should put more effort into them but I guess I kind of look at my youtube channel as a podcast moreso than a video.

I don't have a million subscribers and my videos don't get a million hits but evn a bad video I'll get 20-50 hits on, if I do a video on a current event that's popular I'll get a few thousand views. My earnings are pretty good through youtube though like 0.80 a click sometimes where as they used to be like 0.06 a click, not sure why it went up.

Anyhow, I have hundreds of videos, sometimes I'll pump out like 15-20 videos a day so mine are low quality but I have a lot.

This is probably me being lazy but honestly unless you have a big subscriber base I thinkk from amoney vs time standpoint your probably better off cranking out low quality vids and a lot of them than you are taking days to plan, shoot, and edit a video that maybe 10 people will watch.

Quality is much more important than quantity. You only need 1 video if you are using YouTube PPC then sending that traffic to a squeeze page

What is your average CPC on adsense. It all depends on the niche. If you are sending them to high price Amazon products or re-billing clickbank products you will need fewer than sending them to a site with low paying adsense ads. I currently earn around $1500 a month from 6 videos. I am building a list and sending them clickbank offers. I have another channel that has 12 videos and earns me around $40 a month. Like was said above keep building and things will work for you.

It all depends on the niche, I have gotten as low as 3 cents per view which is great! 10 bucks can get you over 300 views which could turn into maybe 50 to 100 opt ins depending on your video click through rate and you opt in page conversion rate.

Then from their depending on your follow up campaign you could convert those 100 people into 5-10 sales. The best part is you have a list to continue promoting to!

I think quality videos are more important than a lot of less quality videos. Best Regards..

Quality is important than Quantity! No one will watch that video if you poorly created it. Create a video that will catch the interest of your viewers!

Going to agree with everyone here. When you get a hang of the level of quality necessary for not just your videos, but the campaign surrounding them (keywords, backlings, etc.), you'll find that you don't need a million different videos just to make a buck. Good luck!

If you somehow know how to market a product, wise than anyone, you will probably know to optimize a video with lots of views. I've made a case studies back then, but I've delete the blog.

The truth is you don't need thousands of videos, just try bring in more visitors to these video.

Fundamentally, you just need a lot of viewers... this can be achieved in multiple ways.

I've been helping a friend get started with Amazon and he's already seeing some conversions with just 6 videos. The trick, though, is to really do proper keyword research and go straight for buyer keywords. Even if the volume isn't massive.

YT videos are incredibly easy to rank.

It only takes one good video to make you more than all those hundreds of other videos you created. Just make something that people want to view that's it.

You want your video to be quality and make sure that the video keeps your visitors attention and they dont click out of it in 5 or 10 seconds because it looks boring or the info is boring. Are you also trying to build a list using video? You should be. YOu can use a service called Leadplayer.com which allows you to add call to actions and optins directly in your video so as your video is playing and optin box will appear with a call to action. This will help build you a list that you can market to on a consistent basis. A few qaulity videos that are optimized is enough. You dont need 100's of videos to make money
