How to identify lost backlinks?

Each time when i check backlinks i can see some of my pages losing backlinks. Is there any free tool to identify the lost back links?

    Ahrefs is good but their subscription price is very high.So if you have spyglass or full package of SEO power suit you can use this to check your present backlink.Using Spy glass you will get very good result And more importantly you will pay them just 1 time.

      I tried SEO Power suite earlier but the software is not really so user-friendly. It seems IBP (IBusiness Promoter) is far better than SEO Powersuite.

    Perhaps you have created the backlinks with any automated software which was created on spammy sites or with spammy message. That is why may be you are losing those backlinks. You can check Alexa as their backlink updates is too slow and there is a chance that your backlinks are still showing there!
