Has anyone here seen a sifgnificant drop in Google traffic over the last few days?

I appear to have lost 30-40% of daily traffic over the last few days on one of my sites. This is a site which would be deemed pretty good quality as it gets genuine comments from users, almost 3 pages per visitor, very low bounce rate and I don't engage in unscrupulous linking methods (I rarely buy any links for this site, let alone do shady stuff).

No can't say that I am experiencing the same thing and in fact, traffic has increased this week just as in every week. I am not sure how closely you watch your data/keywords but that should tell you where the issue is concerning traffic.

As for me - NO. Maybe because my site can not sink more than it already did. - two penguins falls
BUT no,, no change these last days.

What's your main traffic source? If it's direct traffic, then it's because you're not giving your visitors what they want so they don't come back. If it's search engines then check which keywords you're dropping rank on etc.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, just noticed "google traffic" in the title. No I haven't noticed any drop, again, check out all your keywords and competition, maybe a new competitor is taking your spots

My web traffic keeps on varying. But, there's one thing i have noticed - it's down during the weekends!

I agree with ichl13, check the keywords and see if there has been any substantial drops. Sometimes it's a case that one keyword dominates that you were #1 for and then you drop to #2, this actually causes a huge difference.

The only updates I know of Google recently is a further EMD update which dropped off quire a few exact match domains.

      I hope this helps, Neil

Hi did see a tremendous drop of about 40%. It all started on last Friday. Don't know which Google Panda update has affected my website.
