A couple of months ago, my site got hacked with porn files and I had to fix / exchange all files on the site and so on. I thought I fixed all the issues and the site still doesn't rank. It used to rank on top for most of the keywords and I am now wondering how long it will take to recover or is there anything else I should look into... Can someone please help?

I suggest sending your website for re-inclusion in google webmaster. That's the standard process.

my experience = before change you files , better contact your hosting authority , im sure they have backup database ,and ask them to restore , thats it , your seo component or your files will be restored and continue to play seo again , hope this can help in the future

An established hosting company will often have a toll free number, call them and I am pretty sure they'll erase/solve the problem within minutes as most of the time it's just a code/URL being entered on your website by either having a poor password, giving your pass to someone else, among others...like what you may have previously click for entertainment purposes

Disregard the last sentence, just call the hosting company..if it's hostgator they use to do this for me back in the days in record speed back in the days!

If the domain is an Exact Match Domain (EMD), maybe it got canned for that rather than having been hacked. It may just be a coincidence that your site got hacked when Google did the recent EMD spank-update?

Also, check your .htaccess file for any hidden code, especially right down the bottom past line 200. .htaccess redirect hack and Google Malicious Code Warning- Search Tempo SEO Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Call 07 3166 9622
