Keyword Competition Tool Like Market Samurai

Hi,

I am looking for a REAL/POWERFUL competition tool like the one featured Market Samurai.

The Market Samurai one is too time consuming and is not a bulk process.

I have used a bunch of other "KW Competetition" tools and they just do not perform "proper" KW competition analysis, tools such as Ultimate Niche Finder, Traffic Travis etc.

This guy knows what proper KW comp analysis is:

Whether you have 5,892,536,238 competing results or 500 competing results, all you really need to worry about is the first 10 on the first page. Nothing else is going to matter.

Check how many backlinks they have and how strong/relevant they are, if they use the keyword in the title and URL, the PR of the site, etc.
Analogy: you are in a car race and you have a ferarri and the other 5,892,536,238 cars are actually shopping trolleys/carts. So who do you think will come first?

Any GOOD tool suggestions? Thank you

Have you had a look at SECockpit? It does competition analysis by using data from SEOmoz such as page/domain authority, juice links etc.

So it's the real deal? Do you use it? Can it do bulk analysis of the REAL details we need for SEO competition analysis.

Do you know if it's got a feature about anchor texts or anything. I'd love a program that would analyse the top 10 most used anchor texts for a site. Know anythin that can do that?

    Hey Razul,

We've built thousands of sites and are a "power user" when it comes to KW research. We've used SECockpit and, although it's a great piece of software and has a very "finished" feel...we didn't like the fact they were using cached data.

Take a look at LongTailPro. It's not as pretty, but it's quick and gets the job done for power users. He just recently upgraded the tool to provide a "Chance To Rank" based on the statistics from sites on the first page...a nice addition.

I think pretty much all of the keyword competition software sucks. For the most part they are analyzing useless metrics.

It's not perfect, but the closest thing to something useful I have found is SEOmoz's Keyword Analysis Tool.
