Managing hundreds of keywords for SEO

Short of building out hundreds of keyword based landing pages- what are my options for driving organic traffic based on hundreds of keywords?

Additional challenges:
Product centric e-commerce site
Not a lot of area to add a lot of content, pretty much just product description

    Utilise a network of domains, lots of unique articles, 2-3 links an article.

    Link the sites together carefully in blocks or groups.
    Link to the odd 1 or 2 of your competitor sites on each of the network domains.

    Order hundreds of reasonable and good quality articles from odesk, people per hour or similar and have them auto post across the network of sites over the course of X Months.

    Well, that's how we do it for clients and I have 1 with 2500 keywords in the Cruise niche.
