The domain name is more effective when it contains your desired keyword in it.

After EMD you can chose any of domain, it would be best if you buy that domain which is easily remember by people, so you can make it as brand, you don;t need to use keyword in domain, just use simple word in domain as per your service or product.

Well, EMD would still work, the thing is don't try to register too long domain name, it would be good if it is short, letter you can sell the domain name and earn profit if it is short domain name.

Just try to keep it niche specific. If you were planning to sell tables for example dont buy "buytables" but buy something likes "tableservices" "elegandtables" etc.etc.

Personally i believe domain name should fit on 3C's principle E.g. Concise, Complete and Captivating and also it should be for user not for search engine.

I won't agree with this. I can see tonnes of exact match domain who are enjoying good SERP. I think it's about quality rather than Exact Domain Match
