buying an old domain with pr in slightly different niche

Hi,
I want to buy a PR5 domain i came across to link to my art related website
(selling art, real paintings and also digital versions).
The domain niche and its backlinks are about something different, although you can say its slightly related. Its about using digital images to produce panaromic tours, like 360 digital tours online.
The name is experience-images.com. Do u think i can use the domain as a blog to point to my site. Will it keep the PR5?

    It will keep the PR as long as it keeps the links that are giving it the PR 5. The content makes no difference. You could change it to a blog about the reproduction habits of rabbits, and it will still keep its PR as long as the links are there.

    That domain in OP is obviously part of a paid backlink network, better do your research. I would be surprised If they leave all the external links intact. I didn't check any links, just saying they probably know what they're doing when it comes to buying/selling domains.

    Yeah, just took a look at the links. Not much there, but it does have one PR 7 image link. If that stays, the PR will probably stay. If that goes, it's probably a PR 1.

    yes thanks. i saw that the links are from other panaromic technologies company and especially the pr7... so i think its legit not part of backlink wheel.
