Anyone know how to optimize or manipulate "images" result in search queries? I've seen results show 3 and 5 images in the description. Want to move images to this area or move what's there down for a specific persons' name when searched.

This is basic on-page SEO. Grab a SEO images plugin and run thru the steps. You want to caption and name the video your keyword.

That might be enough. If you want your image to rank further up the chain - then it'll require you backlinking to it.

All in all I don't think it's that big a deal.

It's all about the file names and alt tags. Search engines can't see us like humans can when describing things, I know you know this but it's just reinforcing my point, so if you use a phrase for the file name as well as the alt tag it will be greatly optimized. If you have a picture that you don't want optimized, for example, a single picture is bringing your website a ton of traffic that you don't necessarily want since they are just there for the picture and not your product or service, rename the file and change the alt tag to something less descriptive.

The images you see in description in the Google are not from one website.
Google grabs some images from the images.google.com and put them into the Google web search.

To optimize the images for the search engines you can use the keyword as the image file names, image titles, image alt tags!

It's done the exact same way you rank multiple pages per individual keyword, with links. The difference is, ranking images usually has a lot less competition, which makes ranking the images easier than ranking pages (I would still rank a page).

I have plenty of keywords where I rank 4-5 thumbnail images + page/s (per individual keyword) in Google organic SERPs all from a single domain.

thank you. Yes, this is the images that show in some search results and shows say 5 and when you click on it you may see 50, 100 or more. Have a client that when searching by name there is an undesired photo of someone else posted from a local news article. Client's name is in the title but not the image url. We're trying to figure out how to knock it down to not show in the serps result. Don't really care that you'll find it when clicking on the images as few people will likely do that. It's to get it off the visible google page 1 results.
