Website Review - Advice

Hi Guys,

I've got a site whatishealth dot sg

I've been putting in articles regularly, building backlinks etc. On alexa, i'm indexed below 1mil, and I have a PR 3

However I still hardly get traffic. Its like 2 visits a day.

Any suggestions on how I can improve this?

    If you want to improve your traffic you must do social media submissions and boost up your accounts. Definitely you will get more visitors.

    Just putting up content and doing some backlinks wont help. Pick 5-10 in the same niche and sort them by competition. I use piwik to track my visitors and their behavior on the website. As I see you have some good keywords you are going after. And pick other TLD, .sg is something people wont remember cause you are trying to brand it as I see. The best way to see what works for your niche is to check SERP's. No matter what updates comes out,you check first 3 and you can have a clue what google wants from you from the side of "ON PAGE SEO".

    Keep in mind PR DOES NOT RANK YOUR SITE! So dont bother checking it

      i chose .sg because i wanted to target people in Singapore. Hmm, so you think I should write a couple of articles for a niche subject first?

    Yep, stop worrying about things like Alexa that don't generate traffic.

    Focus on where your traffic is, not bragging rights (or whatever).

    thanks guys. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not bragging about the PR or Alexa.

    Just that wanna make sure what I'm doing is right. I've started the site for a couple of weeks now, and there's hardly any traffic. Hence wanted to ask if what I'm doing is correct.

    I've started other blog sites and within 1-2 weeks, the traffic will start rising steadily.

    The new blog, hardly gets even a single hit a day.

    u can submit couple of articles to hubpages , squido and other social network sites, you will get good decent traffic from there... Also, your articles can be converted to pdf and share it in slide share and other pdf document sharing site.. you will get good traffic..
    go to relevant forums and put the posts there.. u will get definately start seeing some traffic coming in..
    The key is, you have to keep doing these things repeatedly.. and results will follow....
