Google Authorship Issues

I've recently setup Google Authorship for one of my sites and while it's showing for the index page (www.mysite.com) it doesn't seem to have carried across to the internal pages. Even the recently indexed posts. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong.

Any thoughts?

    Without a link how can anyone tell what you've done wrong. But I'll take a stab at it.

    You might have only verified/"hand-shaked" with the homepage alone, and not the other pages of the site. Or maybe you just need to wait a bit more for all the pages to get the snippet.

    Did you check them against:
    http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets ?

      I didn't mean to be difficult, was wondering if it was a common issue people had experienced. I did check the richsnippets tool and it seems okay there.

      Some of the indexed internal pages are coming up in the serps with the author name but not image. Maybe I just need to let it settle for a bit?

      It's the first time I've setup authorship, so I'm still feeling slightly out of my depth. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

    Have the pages been re-indexed since you made the change? Does the Cache show the change in the source code?

      The pages in question are newly indexed and were indexed after the main page was already showing authorship.

      Wondering now why some of the pages are coming up in the serps without a picture and yet are showing the author name.

    Do you have multiple authors? Admin/username. If so, you need to make sure each page/post created by either user matches your Authorship setup.
