How can i do adsense or amazon affiliate without getting penalised by google ?

I have had some sites that ranked well for niches but had adsense ads on them, with recent update they dropped so no point having them.

I have a couple of new sites that are getting good targeted traffic, i currently have ebay affiliate offers on it, which is giving me around 6 uk pence per click,i was wondering how to make more money from them but am very nervous about adding adsense or amazon in case they get dropped.

Can anyone help please ?

    I doubt your monetization methods had anything to do wtih your sites being dropped.

    Don't look like a "thin" affiliate or MFA (made for Adsense) site. Your sites should come across like they are a resource first and an affiliate or Adsense site second. The days of mass producing a bunch of Amazon and/or MFA sites are long gone, so you have to think of the visitor instead of creating the site with $$ in mind. Take a look at the top 10 for whatever keywords you are targeting and see what they are doing. They are up there for a reason.

    You should be okay with adding amazon offers and Google Adsense to those sites as long as:

    1. You make it clear to the visitors of your sites which companies ads/offers are which.
    2. You don't have too many offers on your sites in general.
    3. Your sites have content that is valuable and relevant
    4. There's no suspension of fraudulent activity with either of your sites
    But honestly Google's algorithms for exploiting suspicious activity is not perfect and there have been cases where many high quality sites where dropped for unknown reasons. My advice to you would be to NOT add both Adsense and Amazon offers to those sites right away. I would start out with one offer at a time to see how goggle reacts. Then I would slowly add more as time goes on. Another thing you could do is start an email lists so you could send amazon and other affiliate offers to the people on your list and you could leave just ppc programs(like your eBay one) on the site itself.
