Time Factor Between SEO and PPC

Hey guys, I am just getting into SEO and trying to direct traffic to my blog. My question is does SEO and social media techniques for traffic take longer to bring in traffic than PPC? I am trying to weigh whether it is worth paying for traffic if it creates more in a shorter period than SEO. Or can SEO do just the same if applied correctly? You guys seem to be the experts, any advice would be GREAT!

SEO will take some time, perhaps weeks to months depending on your competition and strategy.

While your ranking in PPC will depend on quality score, bid amount, etc.

Both methods are equal on expert hand.

The key here is scaling. SEO takes time to learn while PPC takes money to learn!

When you know the correct way to use them, scale up and you gain multiple times of benefits! Let's say if you can build a website with 3000 visitors a month, build 10 sites at the same time will theoretically gives you 30000 visitors a month!

    Same goes to PPC.

if you have the budget, then go to PPC. If you dont want to risk some of your penny, with patience and determination then do seo. It takes time though to see you rankings.

I'd never thought of it like that, a very good point well made

Personally I'd just stick to seo for a blog. As long as your content is good then there's no need to worry about googles algorithms changing. It is free traffic as well.
