That's awesome... Congrats.. Maybe you could help me with my blog... I'm also in Health niche. My blog is also clean and informative and on average I have 500-600 unique a day... but no money from adsense...

For hypothetical reasons, let's say you averaged 20 cents a click and 1 in 10 of your visitors click through. To generate $300 a day (using that example) you would need a daily visitor count of 15,000 or approx 4.5m visitors a month. EVEN if you averaged 50 cents a click with a 20% CTR you would still be looking at needing 3000 visitors a DAY or approx 90,000 a month. Now it's not for me to say what someone has or hasn't achieved, but by looking at these numbers you should have a better idea of what it REALLY takes to make that sort of income through a monetization method that requires both volume and targeted traffic.

DeanJames, your numbers are totally wrong. I had one site in weight loss niche, and my average click was 1.5 $ . So you need only 200 click per month to get 300 $ per month, and that is 200/30 = 6,6666 lets say 7 clicks per day. If your CTR is just 1 %, that gives us visit of 700 UV per day, which is totally possible to do in a few months with new website.
I had 100-150 UV per day with my site in just one month.
The reason I don't have this site anymore (in case you wonder why) is that I've done a major mistake - copied content. My content wasn't unique and google drops me waaay down. I used to be on page one for my main keyword, and now my site isn't in top 100 for my keyword. But I learned (in the hard way) what is the importance of unique content.

@MrGood - You will find that the numbers used in my HYPOTHETICAL example are most certainly NOT wrong and that you have in-fact mis-read what was written by the original poster, so check your facts before correcting me. Moreover I was NOT using an example of $1.50 per click (you are). Even if you take that as a given, to achieve $300 income per day at $1.50 a click you require 200 clicks a day. On a 20% CTR that's still 1000 visitors a day or approx 30,000 a month. Re-read the original post and my reply. Dean.

be thankful if you're generating that income with adsense, but make sure you get paid out and not suspended.. I hate those news from IMers who played white hat but still with no reason they got banned from adsense.. lol

I call "porky pies", find it pretty hard to fathom one blog making $300 per day through SEO alone, it would need to be a mixture of SEO and PPC and you have to be careful with the later.

Which makes me also wonder, how many people have messaged the op then got back a reply to buy a product showing how to do it.

Facebook is sitting on a goldmine of personal data, but I'm sure they'll end up in court shortly after they go mainstream delivering Ads on external sites. Personal info. is a very touchy subject when it comes to US Gov.

There's no way to know what percentage of the CPC FB would payout unless they post something about it, I think the best answer you'll ever see as a publisher is a percentage number like Google/Adsense does. I doubt FB will be any more transparent about money than Google is with Adsense.

If FB buys out Atlas from MS, this could be a life or death situation If FB gets tied up in court, investors will bail when they see trouble. MS payed $6 billion for Atlas, which is a little more than 1 full year of FB earnings, I doubt MS will go any lower than the $6 billion price tag they payed.

FB is defiantly going all or nothing If they make that deal with MS.

FBs advantage over Adsense is the FB users personal data, If a court brings the hammer down on FB using personal data, its's adios muchachos!
