Moving multiple Penguin/Panda sites?

I have around 10 EMD niche sites that were affected by google updates and now only get 10-30% of before traffic. Since they are generally on the same topic and the content on them is high quality I want to make one new site and move all the content from these 10 sites to the new site. Any experiences on how to do this, what to be careful off and how to best use the old sites for linking?

It's not a problem, I've done it a few times. Just move over the content to the new domain and delete the content from the other domains. Google will index the new site and eventually remove the old stuff from the index. Just make sure you delete everything from the old domains and give it some time.

About using the old sites for linking...get some cheap shared hosting to host the domains on and put up some original content and link to your new site. The content doesn't have to be awesome, just original. And make sure you only host 2 or 3 sites per IP at the most.

Cannot links from your old penalized EMD sites harm your new website?

Also, as for the issue of IP hosting, I have heard on webmaster forums from more people that this is a myth and that you can host all your websites on just one hosting account without any problems and can have your websites cross-linked with each other.

    Hello
If your website penalized For Back link , Then just download your backlink from Google Webmaster and contact to that website owner and send request to remove that link and then submit request to Google via Webmaster to remove backlink then start again backlinking your website will be recover.
But if your website penalized for on page (Content) then change all website content your website will be recover.

Or simply hire any SEO Expert for this work.

The problem is it would take ages to contact webmasters if your site has a lot of backlinks. Also, owners of sites which are spammy i.e. ones you don't want links from are unlikely to even bother to replying to requests to remove links.

If you use the link disinvow tool, why would you need to contact the website owners?

    Register a clean domain.
Shift over all of your content.

Ditch the crap - and LEAVE IT there. Do not do a 301.

The last thing you want to do is start interlinking from domains that have been penalized.

Just build one site and do it well.
