Will ".com/Blog" be harder to rank?

Hi Warriors,

I have a shopping website www.KFX700parts(.)com, and I have a blog site www.KFX700parts(.)com/Blog.

The Blog will have more content than the retail site, but will if be harder to rank because it's .com/Blog?

Or would it be easier to make the main domain the blog and add .com/store?

Thanks!

It's really something better that you start your blog. So why are thinking about it's ranking. And blogs have generally more content than the original site. I think you should be on it what you started.

Yeah, what Mike said. It's all about how you optimize your page(s), on-page and off-page SEO is what will make the difference, not whether it's .com or .com/blog

The only thing I will say (I know this is not what you asked specifically), is to keep your urls as short as possible, for example:

".com/blog/warrior-forum-review" will be easier to rank than ".com/blog/this-is-by-far-the-best-warrior-forum-review-ever" should "Warrior Forum Review" be your keyphrase.

Okay that was an utterly garbage example, but hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

    Won't really make a difference. It's better than starting a blog on a sub-domain.
