No real SEO problem although you'll find many people who aren't all that Internet savvy will insist on typing in 'www' before your address. To help them out, and for Google too, setup a redirect in your htaccess file to manage this. If you're using WordPress there are plugins that will do this for you.

doesn't affect SEO, and you can set your prefered address in Google webmaster tools. A lot of people who do not work in the Internet world will put in WWW anyway.

Having no WWW helps with offline advertising when you want a shorter address, so I'd go for the no www

doesn't affect it? course it does, plays a minor role, rankings are higher with non-www over www. cos www is not a stop word, it actually has a definition. type in www in the search engine and you'll see all the www of people's domain names listed in bold.

I sort of agree with it but it won't take you from say page 2 to 1 but yes, it may push you up a bit.

hehee, want a bet? that all depends on the phrase you're aiming for, but most easy ones that land you on page 2 off the bat, will push you to 1st page

            Lets have one

But as you said it is not a 'generic' formula to work for everyone but rather depends on the phrase. I look for generic ways rather than going for a bottleneck solution .

Further, you can't get to page 1 with just removing www, you need to work on your on-page and off-page optimization as well.

Give it a try with your site, seo-websitebuilderpro.com and remove www from it and then see if it makes any difference to your results for keyword 'seo'.

What ever you do choose www. or no www. and keep it consistent to avoid canonicalization*

It will have a major effect on the site from an SEO point of view but might make the difference between a #1 and a #2 listings. Plus, more and more sites are choosing to not have a www. domain name.

Actually I found a few government sites that need the w3, otherwise you get server not found.
