How To Compare Adsense Revenue Between New & Returning Visitors?
- SEO |
On my website I know exactly how much I earn per 1,000 page views (eCPM). Let's say, for example, that I make $20 per 1,000 page views.
I have a sneaky suspicion however that my eCPM for NEW visitors is higher than that, and that returning visitors bring the number down a bit.
So 1,000 page views from new visitors may earn me $30, while 1,000 page views from returning visitors may earn just $10.
Is there a way I can find out if this is the case? If so I can more accurately work out what a new visitor is worth to me and I can spend more money on advertising.
I have my Adsense account linked to my Analytics account but I can't work out if I can do this.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
James
