Any suggestions?

So I just did a Google search for the main Exact Match keyword that I had created a Squidoo lens around. After it being #1 on Page 1 of google for this keyword for several months, it now finally dropped to #27. This Exact Match keyword has 8,100 local searches and 12,100 global searches.
I managed to get this article there simply by writing a long in depth article, and plugging the keyword in various places, making sure I did the best job I could with onpage SEO. The subject line, pics, etc.
The other thing I had done was ping the article periodically, especially when I tweaked and updated the lens.
The other thing I did was an occasional tweet and FB post about it, along with a Fiverr gig I had bought to distribute the page and description out there to several bookmarking pages including some of the bigger ones.
After about a month or two of time, and just the one Fiverr gig and few tweets and FB posts I had done, my page climbed up, and eventually got to 1st page. I did one more Fiverr gig and afterward, it shot up to #1 page 1 of Google!
It remained there for at least 4 months, and all I would do was continue to update it a bit periodically, and blast a tweet occasionally as well. I did one more Fiverr gig post as well, again posting it to bookmarking sites with a different subject, description, etc., but same URL.
Today, I found out that after the 4 months or 5 months or so that it's been #1 page 1, it's finally dipped to page 3 #27 now.
Are there any suggestions that you recommend to get this lens back up to page 1 #1 or at least page 1 #5 perhaps?
I'm not sure what other options I can do aside from updating the lens a bit, tweeting, FB'ing, and so forth. I'd really like to get this lens back to the top... granted, it wasn't blowing up in money but it brought me several Clickbank sales as a result of being #1.
