Just set up my first ppc!!

Hey everyone I have just set up my first PPC for my blog. I just wanted to try it and see what happens. Do you think ppc will speed up the growth of my blog?

I'm looking to get more subscribers, leads, Facebook likes and Twitter followers.
I have a lot of pages ranking on Google in the top 5 pages. Hopefully likes and shares can help boost serp rankings?

    PPC will help accelerate your results but you must have a well-defined funnel in place for visitors to follow along with an action that they can perform so that you can accomplish your goals. Remember that just sending them to your blog is not a guarantee that they will subscribe, or like a page, or do anything else that you have in mind. You have to carefully craft the path that they follow in order to accomplish a specific task. For instance if your goal is to get them to subscribe to your blog, you should create a landing page that is specially designed to get visitors to do just that. Make the action you want them to perform the most obvious thing on the page and make it very clear that this is the only thing they should be doing when they arrive.

    In terms of your PPC ad, whether you are using Adwords or just banner ads, make sure you deliver what your ad is promising once the visitor arrives on the landing page. Otherwise they will just leave.
