Hey!

I am wondering which alternative to Google do you think is better and why? Adbrite or Infolinks?

Thanks!

There are dozens of ad networks you can choose from. But if i had to choose between these two i would say Infolinks

You could run Adbrite and Infolinks together, since they are different types of advertising and do not conflict with each other. Infolinks just takes your current content and adds links to it, it does not take up any ad space. However, don't expect to make a lot of money with these 2 networks unless you have a ton of traffic, and I mean a ton!

I have tried several other of the "Adsense" types sites and the only one that remote compares to it is Media.net. However, they take months to approve each site and the site must be good quality and have good traffic for it to be approved.

Why you don't try them both out?

It's a question that has no answer except neither.
There is no alternative. Asking for one is like asking
which tastes better as an alternative to sugar, sand or chalk?

You are better off monetizing in different ways instead of
looking for adsense wannabes. There are none in existence.

If you were banned by adsense, keep in mind any similar program
will have the same exact rules as adsense. Any real company is
      not stupid.

Yep, what Paul said -- Exactly.

Not sure why you are looking for Adsense alternatives as nothing really does compare to that program. If it's because you have been banned by Adsense there is a way to get back into the program however. What you will need to do is form a business entity (like a REAL business) such as an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) When you are setup as a proper business, then reapply to Adsense under the business name and address, and you may be approved to run ads.

However, as Paul implied, if you continue the activities that got you banned the first time, you will likely be banned again. So figure out what got you banned -- if you don't know already, and change accordingly. If you want to play the Adsense game, you have to play by the rules whether you like it or not.

I wasn't banned for breaking the rules - I got into an argument with someone online about feminism and they went and click bombed my site. I tried explaining to google but to no avail. They don't care.

Hey Paul, Do you have an idea of what these sites might pay out? You say there is no alternative. I made more than $10,000 alone, 2 years in a row from Shopzilla. Yes they dont pay near as much as Google per click. But add a few of those types of sites together makes for some decent cash.
I wouldn't mind finding a couple of more sites that would pay from 10 to 25 cents per click. If you know of any, please let me know.

The CPC (cost per click) will vary as per you niche (or subject) SOme fields pay very high. I read one article the finance sector pays up to 43 dollar/click. Well google won't show that to our pages and advertiser also will not be interested to show their ads on content network. However when high end is that much low end also will be higher. So when you write an article or create a page keep this in mind and write as per that.
May be the following article may help you to get more insight

Among Adbrite and infolinks I prefer infolinks because of it's natural condition. But again, you can use both Adbrite and infolinks at the same time. It does not violate the terms and conditions of any of these ad network. Try it out.

      Infolinks? Natural condition?

The only people who can tolerate all the lame popups on an infolinks page are people that don't have a monitor hooked up to their PC.

I wonder if you have thought about bidvertiser.com. It can be a very good alternative of adsense.

I recently tried the new bing/yahoo media.net as part of their beta program in hopes that it might now be a real alternative to adsense. After about a week of sending about ~3k impressions/day I was making 10% of what adsense typically yields. I'm hoping that as the program ramps up and gets some more advertisers that cpc will go up.

Infolink pays good. My infolink versus adsense is 10 to 15%. But I am running only text link from infolink. Which means the income purely supplement.
Previously I have tested adbrite, tyroo, clicksor, blue adds etc etc (all are useless as toilet papers. Clicksor is like used toilet paper. If you use you will have some other sh#t on your)

    So never use Clicksor.

Used Chitika and CPC is disaster

I recommend the following which I used and found satisfactory

    1. Fastclick (Valueclik media)
    2. Right Media or cpx interactive from yahoo
    3.Federated media

I am using all three now. Federated media is having great customer service and looks like they are good. (You can search google for above and I am sure you will find their websites

Update: I have started federated media only one week before. They themself asked to put banner at unimportant place. Looks like they are good. Only thing I worried is their fill rate. Only 28%. Otherwise it is Very Good as per revenue, support and report.
Also You question made me to write a case study about infolinks vs kontera. In which I am explaining my experience with data and images

Adbrite has been dead for years, they were living off venture capital. They couldn't sell the business. If it was a decent business it would have been bought out instantly, which never happened.
