Adwords Ad Rejected. What about Bing?

I recently tried to put up an ad for a Clickbank product that is in the natural cure niche. Apparently this kind of ad is no longer allowed:

"Google doesn't allow sites that claim a product or service can provide benefits beyond the abilities of modern medicine. This ad promotes a cure for a disease that has no known scientific cure."
I haven't used Adwords for quite some time but I know I used to be able to advertise similar products.

Now my question is, can I still advertise this type of product on Bing/Yahoo? I know Facebook has no problems with it. Also, what are some other PPC platforms that I can use?

Thanks!

Be happy they didn't ban you for life.

You need to catch up on the rules of PPC.

You were putting up ads as an affiliate?

No, the Clickbank product in question was mine. However I was not aware that PPC platforms do not allow affiliate links. Can you confirm?

Also, I doubt all PPC platforms have the same rules, as Facebook approved my ad. This is why I was asking about Bing/Yahoo and other natural cure-friendly PPC platforms.

One thing you can do is have your ad send you to a page where you focus on getting their email address, then sell the product via email autoresponder. Just make sure the optin page has links to other good content and isn't exclusively a bare "squeeze" page. Your offer will have to be squeaky clean too, but it can work.

    Hi Sherry,

Welcome back to PPC, and adwords.

Google adwords heavily frowns upon affiliate marketing. Don't try to run another adwords campaign that promotes affiliate products. If you try a second time, they'll likely ban your account, or you, from adwords.

I understand it's your product. Anything from CB is not welcome at adwords, and their message confirms how they feel about certain niches they don't like.

    You're good everywhere else, though.

    Bing/Yahoo - MS Adcenter
7Search - (learn how to block IPs for junk traffic)
    Miva
    Adbrite
Facebook - But results are better if you send people to your FB page, first. Then work to get them on a list. And some markets convert better than others at FB.
Stumbleupon Discovery paid ads. Not sure how they feel about CB products, though.

    That should keep you busy.

If you can find me any official statement anywhere on giggle.com to support that I will send you some dollars to buy a beer.

/\ here they tell you it is ok

you can promote affiliate links, what you can not do is promote any links / affiliate to sites that do meet giggles terms, and yes this means 99.99% of clickbank if not all.

for the other ad platforms just for a email to support with your link and seek verification / it may work for you.

Thanks Ken! Good to know I'm fine on Yahoo/MSN at least. I bought an adcenter coupon a while back and didn't want to open the new account until I actually had something to advertise.
