1. For SEO purposes, I realize you should try to use your main keyword at least one or more times in your post. My question is - if you're using a blog and make multiple posts a day... should you try to use your keywords at least one or more times in EACH post?

2. My sites theme came with a built-in sitemap however, is it still necessary to use a plugin, such as Google XML Sitemap, along WITH the built-in one? Or should I just use one or the other?

Thankyou!!

The best way to use your keywords is to include them in your posts naturally. Don't force them in.

Your built in sitemap should be fine.

Having Google XML Sitemap doesn't hurt.

    As for SEO,

Yeah, mention it a couple of times in your post or a few times depending on how long your content is but don't try to aim for some bogus "percent" that people think is golden. Just write the article naturally so that it'll please your readers more than Google. Google picks up on well written content that aims to please it's readers and a lot of times, good writers who are just running a blog or website for fun have no clue about SEO.

As long as you're not trying to keyword stuff and write every single article based on a single keyword.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Do you need to make posts each day or are you doing it just because someone told you that you need to in order to get traffic?

If you are doing it, I wouldn't go cramming keywords in every single post.

Nice thing about Google XML Sitemap is it notifies a few of the search engines about the sitemap. If what your theme came with does the same thing, then it probably doesn't matter.

If you want those specific pages/posts to rank for a given keyword, then yes, you should use them at least once or more in each post. Your keyword density should be between 1.5-2%.

Do not worry about keyword density. That is complete nonsense.
