Google adwords vs google adwords express

Hi,

I'm a real estate agent and I'm trying to figure out if it makes sense to take advantage of the google adwords express coupon or it's simply better to use google adwords instead. Basically the deal is that if you spend more than $125 on clicks bewteen Dec 16 and the end of the year you will receive an up to $250 advertising credit on Jan 15, 2013.

The way I understand it is that you can't control keywords and bids in the same way you do in google adwords. Also, I believe I read somewhere that google adwords express are the paid ads for google maps and are relevant to local search. My concern is that this traffic might not be as targetted as google adwords since you don't get to choose your keywords, bids, placement etc. The only thing is seems you can control is your monthly budget.

Also, it asks for your address so I'm assuming if you put your own address or your brokerage's address you would get potenial prospects that are in that geogrpahic area.

    Adwords express gives you untargeted clicks and is for stupid people who dont know how to take a few minutes and create a normal adwords account. I got a free $100 voucher, used it up and got nothing out of it. Adwords clicks may cost more but you get targeted clicks for only the specific keywords you choose.
